We got our start back in 2016, our founder Matt Schwanke, is a 100% disabled Iraq War Vet. He had been doing a lot of off shore fishing, hunting and long range shooting and it helped him recover his issues related to his time in the army. He then decided to take some Veterans fishing with him while on vacation in The Florida Keys that summer and made some friends. He then decided since he was already fishing 2-3 times a month why not share it with more Vets.

We are committed to healing our Veterans with PTSd. Most of our Vets with PTSd come back for multiple trips as we counsel them through peer to peer therapy. Veterans with combat related PTSd have first priority.

We don't have any special requirements or any special questionnaires. We think all Veterans have served our nation equally and honorably. I don't think you should be left behind because you didn't answer that guys question "why should we pick you over the next Veteran" or "what happened to you in combat". Just show us your dd214 or your active ID and your good to go fishing with us.

Vice President and Founder: Dr. Larry Schwanke is a Doctor of Chiropractic and practices in Ocala, FL at Back to Basic's Chiropractic. He has been in practice since 2000 and is also currently serving as the first mate for the Atlantic operations on the weekends.

Treasurer: Lori Porter, owner of S&P Accounting

Secretary and Founder: Kate Schwanke is a certified school teacher for Marion County Schools and teaches 2nd grade. Kate keeps books and holds all of our float plans back on land for the USCG while we are off shore while plotting our movements via GPS trackers.
